Christy Schwartz was hit by a car while collecting kids on the Sunday school bus route last year. Thankfully, no children were injured in the senseless accident, but Christy's life will never be the same. She spent months in a medically induced coma and was slowly brought back to consciousness. But due to the spinal-cord injuries, Christy will spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair, unable to function from the neck down.

Christy and her family have been active church members for their whole lives, dedicated themselves to the children's church, attending Sunday school and teaching.

Insurance limitations have made it impossible for Christy to receive any kind of therapy, and they currently have no health coverage. Kenny, her husband is looking after her and their two children, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Christy has been homebound, with no transport. Upon hearing the plight of Christy and her family, Mark and Michele Schols immediately offered to help. The Schols family is donating a breeding for shipped semen - currently sold out for 2009 - to Wimpys Little Step which will go towards a fund to purchase a wheelchair-assisted mini-van for the Schwartz family.

There is no question that Wimpys Little Step has not only been a reining champion himself, but also proven to be a phenomenal stallion - already siring champions. The generosity of the Schols family is overwhelming to the Schwartz family, and is much admired by all who know Mark and Michele.

As stated earlier, there are NO frozen shipped semen contracts left for 2009, making this offer all the more valuable to the winning bidder.
